The Trinity Bikes Cycling Team, which claims Redmond, OR as home, is the first cycling team based here. We were formed with two goals in mind, to promote the cycling community in Redmond as well as to support racers looking to step up their game. The team has been built with athletes that are passionate about racing as well as having a great time. Putting like-minded people together in our small group, (max roster of 10) has created a super close knit family. We all hang out, ride and race together. This unique approach has really made a positive impression within the cycling and racing community here in Oregon. People are always surprised to find out how small our team is, in relation to our presence at the races and are always impressed with our outgoing and fun approach to racing bikes. We are involved in several different ways to promote cycling within the community: - At the forefront of a local charge to build great trail systems within and in close proximity to Redmon! d, by putting together and hosting trail build days. - Working with Commute Options at local schools to promote bike safety on the roads. - Hosting races in town that cater to the general public as well as state-sanctioned races in the upcoming season. During the 2011 season, we improved dramatically over our first year of racing as a team. We claimed over 40 Top Five finishes with our nine athlete roster, including two 2nd place finishes at the National Level.
